Christian Preparedness

A prudent man seeth the plague, and hideth himself: but the foolish go on still, and are punished. (Proverbs 22:3; 27:12, Geneva Bible )

Are you a believer in Christ? Do you see the prospect of difficult times ahead, economically, socially and politically? If so, have you taken steps to prepare?

If you answered all questions with, "Yes," then you are a Christian prepper. That is to say that you, as a Christian, have begun to make preparations for hard times ahead.

Since that is the case, let me ask you:

As a Christian prepper, have you faced the question of why you prepare?

Some may think it's a silly question. "Why do I prepare? Well, isn't it obvious? To keep myself and my family alive!"

Okay, then that leads to a second question: Why do you want to stay alive?

Before I go on with this topic, I'd like to give readers a chance to answer that question in the comments section.
