As a Christian Warrior -- a sheepdog under the Great Shepherd -- how well have you prepared for what may lie ahead? You can smell the desperation in the air.
The Anyone-But-Obama (ABO) movement, for example reeks of fear. And, as always, fear tends to crowd out rational thought. ABOers have failed to recognize that trading one pile of manure for another will not likely make things better.
The more things change, the more they stay the same. Did you notice the transition from Bush II to Obama? In terms of policy, it looked more like a transition from Bush II to Bush III.
In a recent article, Gary North stated it well:
[T]he Obama Administration is the operational successor of the Bush Administration. In Iraq, in Afghanistan, in Guantanamo, on Wall Street, Barack Obama in George W. Bush in blackface. Obama is the star of a twenty-first century minstrel show.
This fact has been deliberately ignored for almost four years by both the neoconservative Right and the grin-and-bear-it Left.
Think of Barack Obama's transition from candidate to president. Remember the promise to bring the troops home "first thing" after his inauguration? Remember the promise to close the Guantanamo Bay prison camp? Remember the Bush bank bailout? It came shortly before the Obama bank bailout. Remember the flap over Bush's interpretation of the Patriot Act to include wiretapping Americans without a warrant? Obama merely built on that base.
I could go on, but what's the point? Obama's administration has simple carried out the policies of the Bush administration. He has just carried them further.
I do see one big difference between Obama and Bush. Rhetoric. Bush talked in conservative-speak and Obama talks in liberal-speak. Also, although Obama has continued neoconservative foreign policy in the Middle East, he cannot conceal his disdain for those who serve in the military. Bush won their hearts and minds; Obama has not.
Many have pinned their hopes on a Romney win to turn things around. They're tired of liberal Democrats who impose their will on the people with total disregard for the rules. A glimpse at how the Republican establishment has violated the rules to steamroller the grass roots does not bode well for us if Romney becomes president. I've said all this to show you that if you put your hope in politics and politicians, they will betray you. The nation is on a downward slide economically, and it's on a slide toward totalitarianism politically. The slide will continue under Republicans or Democrats.
I have not yet even mentioned the spiritual slide, and that's the important one. Do you think that it will make any difference to God whether you choose a president who elevates the Book of Mormon over the Bible rather than one who elevates the Koran over the Bible? Judgment on America approaches.

- Repent. I mean it. Repent of your sins, of any shred of unbelief, of any single drop of blood in your veins that is disloyal to the King, of any actions which have made you part of the problem rather than part of the solution. Yes, you need to pray, but first you must repent.
- Pray for God's grace and wisdom in facing the coming trials.
- Search the Bible, God's only written Word to us for the right, true and wise path to take in your preparations.
- Take appropriate steps to provide the necessities of life for yourself and your family.
- Take appropriate steps to protect yourself and your family. The bureaucrats at DHS are preparing for civil disruptions in the near future by ordering 1.4 billion rounds of pistol ammo and an undisclosed amount of .223 rifle ammo. If the situation deteriorates to the point where they need a tenth of that, you should think about laying in enough to ensure the safety of your house -- and of your neighbors, as well.
- Prepare to help and lead others through the potential disasters ahead in the name of the King.
