I've been using a free program called Do Not Track Plus for over a week, now. It detects and blocks social networks, ad networks and companies that track you online.
It has surprised me how many online entities have been tracking my every move on the net. So far, it has blocked trackers over 13,000 times.
Have you noticed that if you search for a particular item or view a particular product, that suddenly ads start appearing for that product or similar ones on sites that you visit? Do Not Track Plus blocks ad-trackers that do this.
