Whose Side Are You On?

• Last year, U.S. forces backed Islamist extremist factions -- linked to al Qaeda -- and destabilized Libya to overthrew Muammar Qaddafi. (Al Qaeda Members' Role in Libyan Command)
• On 9/11, the al Qaeda-backed faction directed the attack on the U.S. embassy in Libya. They killed the ambassador. (Al Qaeda's Libya Vengeance Plot)
• So, now the U.S. military is hunting them down (Drones May Play a Role in Hunting Down . . .)
• But the U.S. also backs the al Qaeda efforts to overthrow Assad in Syria (Al Qaeda Leader Urges Support) (Obama Authorizes Secret U.S. Support for Syrian Rebels)
• It's okay, because before we were for them, we were against them . . .
• But before that, we were for them . . . 
• But before that . . . . 

Anyone else getting a headache? This foolishness has gone on through Republican and Democratic administrations. 

Al Qaeda first came about as a project of the CIA. Some observers think that the spooks have never relinquished control. They used the terrorist organization to further their aims in Bosnia and Kosovo (See here). 

QUESTION: "Who benefits from all this?" ANSWER: The factions among the Establishment who entertain a globalist vision: the New World Order.

QUESTION REPHRASED: "Who profits every time our military fires a round, drops a bomb or launches a new plane?" ANSWER: The military industrial complex along with the financiers tied to it. In his farewell address, President Eisenhower warned America of the dangers inherent in its existence.

Evangelicals tend to back the U.S. military unquestioningly. They do not seem to understand that you can hold our troops in high esteem even if you do not support the insanely reckless policies that put them in harm's way.

Christian Warriors risk this attitude, as well. We have a natural affinity for the warriors who represent our nation overseas. We loathe the idea that honorable men and women could be tools of a profit-seeking internationalist elite. 

No matter how hideous we find that concept, however, we must face the fact that, at its highest levels, military policy and deployment intertwines with the program and goals of those who seek undo our faith and merge us into a global humanist dictatorship.

The bottom line is this: If you uncritically support American troop deployment overseas, you will find yourself in support of terrorist organizations like al Qaeda more often than you might like to think.

SitRep: Critical

The good news is that authorities released Brandon Raub from confinement in a psychiatric hospital  in response to a judge's order. The bad news is that his case represents the tip of the iceberg.

John Whitehead, director of the Rutherford Institute and Raub's attorney, says that since the publicity over this case, he has received calls from veterans' groups across the country:

Whitehead said that veterans have since been contacting him from across the country claiming they too were victims of wrongful detention in psychiatric institutes like Raub.
He added,

There’s about 20,000 civil commitments alone in Virginia each year. (Article in The Blaze)

In another recent case, Scranton police arrested a Christian talk show host, and he ended up in a mental health facility where the doctors diagnosed him as psychotic, thereby depriving him of his right to own firearms. Douglas Hagman of the Northeast Intelligence Network reports:

In short, Mr. Egroff was involuntarily committed to a psychiatric facility for evaluation due to his pro-Christian yet non-threatening religious views opposing those of the Obama regime. Of course, that’s not the official psychiatric diagnosis given to him, but after an extensive investigation into the events leading up to and following his evaluation, it might as well be. What was uncovered in subsequent investigations involving other “patients,” I am convinced that the common element in all similar cases is one’s Christian beliefs when combined with a vocal opposition to Obama agenda. I’m also convinced we’ve identified their playbook.

Further research into this tactic left me both surprised and shaken to the core. My findings have determined that the situation involving Mr. Egroff is not an isolated case, but one of a growing and effective tactic currently being used to silence the Christian “watchmen” in the U.S. The victims of these tactics are not fanatical, they do not advocate violence, and certainly do not represent any threat to themselves or others. Their common “crime” is that they believe in the Word of God, the Holy Bible, and vocally identify the transgressions of our current government as they relate to the Bible and Scripture. To the Obama regime, this has obviously become a dangerous political threat.

We can clearly see the police state closing its tentacles around the liberties of its people as it steps up its efforts to silence opposing views. I have previously documented the construction and logistical readiness of federal detention camps, the training of the military for deployment against the American populace and the purchase of about a billion-and-a-half (and counting) rounds of ammunition by DHS alone. (Note: The military has expended about "only" 70 million rounds a year in the war in Iraq.)

Federal authorities have put out bulletins to state and local law enforcement agencies that identify returning veterans, Ron Paul supporters, 9-11 truthers, Christian Reconstructionists, and Tea Party people as terrorists. In other words, they have targeted us as the enemy.

During his interview with Glen Beck, Attorney Whitehead mentioned that we live in a total surveillance society. He maintains that authorities can monitor any private conversation or communication  and use it as grounds to "disappear" you into some psychiatric hospital.

In response to that, my wife reminded me of a passage in the book Tomorrow Will Be Better, an account of one family's struggle during the Nazi occupation of Czechoslovakia:

It is hard to describe what it was like to live under circumstances where every detail, every adt, and every word might suddenly cause one's death. Fear can destroy one's sense of proportion. (p. 130)

At this juncture, we need to close ranks. We need to have each others' backs, and we need to rise up in indignation just as so many did for Brandon Raub. 

Be willing to stand with those who are willing to stand alone.

New Orleans: Harbinger of the Police State?

In New Orleans this past Sunday, a toddler died in the crossfire of an apparent gang shootout. (see here) Now at least one Louisiana lawmaker has issued a call for the National Guard to patrol the streets to suppress crime.

In 2005, military patrols confiscated guns from citizens, leaving them helpless against marauding gangs of looters in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina. New Orleans seems to serve as a test case and precedent for martial law & the police state.

Let's recap a partial chain of events:

1. The national government has redefined terrorism to include pretty much anyone who opposes its policies (see here);
2. Federal authorities hold coordinated drills to impose martial law (see here);
3. ATF has admitted complicity in running guns into Mexico, and agency emails reveal that at least one objective was to create an excuse for stricter gun controls on American citizens (see here);
4. Civil governments at all levels have terrorized citizens just going about their business (see here and here);
5. The president now claims the authority to have any American assassinated anywhere in the world, if he alone determines that citizen is a terrorist (see here);
6. Congress has rubber-stamped the president's power to arrest and detain any citizen without due process (no trial, no charges, no warrant) for any length of time (see here)
7. FEMA has put the machinery in motion to activate its emergency detention camps (death camps? see here);
8. Now, crime in the streets may serve as an occasion to impose martial law on a U.S. city (see below).

Do you see a pattern here? Think Mitt Romney will save us?

Think again.

In the Python's Deadly Coils

Both in the wild and in captivity, pythons have killed human beings. If you handle one, you must take care not to let it begin to wrap its coils around your body, for once they do, they contract those coils and squeeze the breath from your body.


Last week, a number of news outlets informed Americans that the Senate's passage of the National Defense Appropriations Act (NDAA) slipped another deadly coil around the body politic. (see here and here)

Senator McCain, the author of the provision for indefinite detention of suspected terrorists without trial or formal charges confirmed that this provision would include American citizens. (see here) Again, realize that this means arrest and detention for any period of time on mere suspicion, without formal charges or a trial.

The president's threatens to veto the law, not because of its obvious violation of the Constitution, but because of a perceived curtailing of executive power:

In their current form, some of these provisions disrupt the Executive branch's ability to enforce the law and impose unwise and unwarranted restrictions on the U.S. Government's ability to aggressively combat international terrorism . . . . (Statement of Administration Policy)

Remember, this is the president who has acted on his public claim that he has the prerogative to assassinate American citizens without formal charges or trial. (see here)

In the wake of these events, FEMA yesterday announced its "National Preparedness System" which claims to centralize control of all society in an emergency:

“What makes this preparedness system unique is that it engages the whole community –individuals, businesses, community- and faith-based organizations, schools and all levels of government,” said FEMA Administrator Craig Fugate. “We recognize that the nation will be most prepared for threats and hazards when we work together.” (Cypress Times, see here)

And under the new guidelines, just about anything can constitute a national emergency (see Cypress Times article, op. cit.) Also, Alex Jones reports that FEMA is now taking bids to supply its emergency (detention?) camps. (see here and here).

The coils are there. Don't think everything is okay just because you don't feel the squeeze yet.

Identifying Any Terrorists as Islamic Offends Muslims -- U.S. Caves to Demands

The Obama administration has undertaken the process of removing all references to Islam from anti-terrorist training materials. Acccording to an article in the Daily Caller,

The move comes after complaints from advocacy organizations including the Council on American Islamic Relations (CAIR) and others identified as Muslim Brotherhood front groups in the 2004 Holy Land Foundation terror fundraising trial.

The article continues:

Dwight C. Holton, the U.S. Attorney in Oregon said he had spoken with Holder directly about the issue of the terror training materials. Holton is the federal prosecutor who announced the arrest of so-called “Christmas tree bomber” Mohamed Osman Mohamud in 2010. That announcement made no mention of Mohamud’s Muslim faith.


“I want to be perfectly clear about this: training materials that portray Islam as a religion of violence or with a tendency towards violence are wrong, they are offensive, and they are contrary to everything that this president, this attorney general and Department of Justice stands for,” Holton said Wednesday. “They will not be tolerated.”

No mention was made of removing mention of Christians who carry Bibles or copies of the U.S. Constitution from anti-terrorist training materials.

In other news, the killing of Coptic Christians in Egypt by Muslims is found in full accord with Sharia law, because the Copts were guilty of attempting to repair their church building. (Article here)

U.S. backed Libyan rebels with links to al Qaeda have tortured, lynched & beheaded blacks in a fit of ethnic cleansing. (Article here)

In the video below, you will see international reports of Muslims persecuting Christians. Of course, that's not terrorism -- it's just persecution. (It's only a terror if you're the one being burned, bombed, raped, dismembered, etc.)

Operation Mountain Guardian: Martial Law Coming Soon to a City Near You?

Last Friday (9/23/11), more than 100 gov't agencies participated in Operation Mountain Guardian hosted by homeland security. The exercise put Denver Colorado under simulated martial law, and most national media totally ignored it.

Alex Jones did get a two-man news team in to cover the event, and below you will find a video clip of the SWAT invasion of a public elementary school. You can hear the crying and screams of terrified children as young as six years in the background, even while helmeted, fully armed police shout at them to calm down.

My wife said that this was perhaps the most disturbing thing she has heard of the feds doing in years. That was even before she saw the video.



The children were evacuated from the building past simulated casualties (dead & bloody) and then taken to a sports stadium for processing. During a real martial law crackdown, officials could use their possession of the children to lure parents on a blacklist in for arrest and transfer to a detainment camp.

Too bad no adult showed up either during planning or execution to say, "This is a really bad idea."

One More 9/11 Conspiracy Theory

JWC sent me a link to this documentary video on the World Trade Center attacks. After watching the hour-and-a-half presentation, I feel inclined to side with over 1500 engineers who have weighed the evidence and said that the official story just could not have happened.

It's sad but true that a soundbite mentality deprives many, if not most, of the ability to focus for 90 minutes. But I have provided a couple of shorter videos in a previous post to at least pique (not peak, please) readers' curiosity. Additionally, I believe a sizable segment of my readers are above average and can maintain focus long enough to watch the documentary. (Click on link in first line above.)

After considering the odd fact that two planes brought down three buildings in a totally uncharacteristic fashion, the following possibility occurred to me: A third plane was supposed to crash into the building number seven. When the third plane did not materialize, the plot had unfolded too far, and they felt forced to detonate the charges in building seven.

If my hypothetical  proposition were correct, Flight 93, which crashed in Pennsylvania, was meant to crash into WTC 7. Wikipedia says, "Although the evidence remains inconclusive, it is widely presumed the intended target was the United States Capitol Washington, D.C."

Below you will see a map which appears in the Wikipedia article. It shows a sharp turn from its westerly course after the hijackers took over. This makes it look as though it's headed for Washington D.C. But then, there's a course correction that points it in the direction of New York City.

I believe the third turn came shortly before the crash and represents either loss of control as the passengers stormed the cockpit (official story) or evasive action before military planes shot it down (one conspiracy version).

So, does my "conspiracy theory" have merit? I don't have any hard evidence to support it, so I'm just putting it out there for your consideration. And if you think it's an idea that's really out there, that's okay, too.

From the Barber's Chair: Ringing the Bell on 9/11

This morning, I received the following communication from my barber:

On September 11th,after we had finished eating lunch at church,Bill reminded us that we were to ring the church bell at one o'clock,for one minute straight. As there were only a handful of servants still there, I volunteered. 

 To ring the bell at our church,you have to go behind the alter. It's dark,narrrow,and lonely. I had hacked my watch to synch at 1PM. As I was waiting,I began to think about why we were called to do this. No one present had knowledge of exactly whom it was aimed at. 

 I began to ponder the totality of 9/11,and I came up with this. I rang the church bell for the following reasons. I want the jihadists to know that the Kingdom of God,and his son,Jesus Christ is still soverign. The Kingdom of God will triumph over evil. As long as one of us is alive,a lone Christian will stand in the dark,having suffered untold loss,to trumpet God's Kingdom,and oppose the jihadists. I also rang it for my son in Afghanistan. For all my Brothers and Sisters in uniform,alive and dead. I am grateful to have served the Lord,and our country in this way. 

 On a day that commemorated a tradgedy,and having just lived through a tradgedy here with the flood,I wanted you to know that we as Christians go forward,Christ's Banner held high.

U.S. Gov't Involvement in the 9/11 Attacks?

I hesitate to categorically state that elements of the U.S. government actively engaged in the planning/execution of the 9/11 attacks. Ten years ago, as I watched and wept, I did not immediately connect the Muslim terrorists with  the Machiavellian political machinations in Washington.

Since that time, however, many anomalies have come to light -- anomalies which the political and media establishments have deliberately covered up. It makes me wonder what they are trying to hide.

I've watched some long videos that pile up evidence against the truthfulness of the official story. Here are a couple of short ones that do a good job of revealing the chasm between the establishment version and what seems to have really happened.

A Sheepdog of 9/11

Ever hear of Rick Rescoria? He died in the South Tower on 9/11. But not before leading 2700 people to safety and returning to the building for more.

2700 people! That's almost as many as died in the tragedy. In other words, without the action of one sheepdog, the number of deaths could easily have been double what it was.

Born in England in 1939, Rescoria's memory of "Yank" soldiers during WWII inspired him to become a British paratrooper. Later he emigrated to the U.S., joined the army and served in Vietnam. He came away with a Silver Star, Bronze Star (with oak leaf cluster), a purple heart and the Vietnamese Cross of Gallantry.

He also picked up a couple of nicknames from those days: Hard Core and The Cornish Hawk. According to composer Christiopher Theofandis, ". . . Rescorla also had a habit of teaching his troops to sing in battle. "One of the things I think he understood really strongly was that music and song unite people in a really strong way," he says. "He had taught his charges to sing to overcome their fear, their own sense of disorder."

As a part of Morgan Stanley's security team on 9/11, Rescoria sang as he led his flock to safety. He sang "God Bless America" and a slightly altered version of "Men of Harlech":

Men of Cornwall stop your dreaming;

Can't you see their spearpoints gleaming?
See their warriors' pennants streaming
To this battlefield.
Men of Cornwall stand ye steady;
It cannot be ever said ye
for the battle were not ready;
Stand and never yield!

Rick Rescoria died at the age of 62 in the controlled demolition of of the south tower. We may never fully know what happened that day, a the question nags me. Was he betrayed by policymakers of the adopted land he loved and served so well.

U.S. Military Backs Al Qaeda -- Should Christian Warriors Help?

Should aspiring Christian warriors enlist in the U.S. military? On its face, it seems a good way to serve by protecting hearth and home.

You can see a problem with that as you consider the agenda of those who direct U.S. military policy. For example, ABC News has reported that Abdelhakim Belhaj, the new leader of Libya's U.S. backed military council has a terrorist background and links to al Qaeda. 

The report states:

Abdelhakim Belhaj, who was recently appointed to Tripoli's rebel military council, was one of the original founders of the Libyan Islamic Fighting Group, an anti-Gadhafi group which was later designated by the U.S. State Department as a terrorist organization with links to al Qaeda, according to U.S. government reports. So, why have the ruling elite backed an al Qaeda faction in yet another military intervention? Could it be that the Military Industrial Complex (MIC) needs an enemy in order to justify its existence, and that Libya will serve as the incubator for the future enemy?

Of course, by the time the tailor-made terrorists enemy develops into a credible threat, the American public will have forgotten the U.S. role in creating it. Who remembers that Osama bin Laden and Saddam Hussein were both at one time CIA clients?

Who remembers that during World War I, the head of the Federal Reserve Bank and the head of the German central bank were brothers? The banksters who financed the war on both sides profited.

My counsel to young Christian warriors who want to serve their country is to find some other way to do it rather than join the military. Don't put your life and limb on the line as a pawn for policymakers who put personal and corporate profits above the well-being of this nation's citizens.

Do not misunderstand me -- I pray for those who have gone into military service. I respect their courage and intentions, but I have to confess I believe that they are misguided.

I believe that a young Christian warrior would better serve his nation by serving the nation's King -- Jesus. As I develop this site, D.V., I hope to outline a plan based on Biblical teaching that will accomplish this.
